Game Plans

Sundays:

A set of games I can play while watching the other streamers on the multistream and interacting with chat. Must fit the format of shorter (2-hour) streams.

  • Super Mario (current: Odyssey)

  • Picross S (when I need a break: S2)

  • Power Wash Simulator (between games)

Choice Games:

A set of games I really want to play, whether by express choice or a sense of obligation. Twitch viewers can populate this with a points redemption. Presently, I am finishing series that I started earlier and then gained further access to series entries after finishing the set.

This set is on Mondays & Saturdays.

  • Final Fantasy

  • The Legend of Zelda (on deck: Twilight Princess)

  • Metroid

  • Pokemon
  • Wonder Boy
  • Xenoblade Chronicles (current: X Definitive Edition)

Event Games/Etc.:

Games and other streams voted on by the community for certain events. Most often, this is for annual events such as my Twitch Affiliate anniversary and my streaming anniversary, or as a break between finishing game series. There can be more of these if Twitch subscription milestones are hit.

  • Between Twitch series: model building
  • First Saturday monthly: Hollow Knight Randomizer

YOUR VEHICLE'S EXTENDED WARRANTY

Power Wash Simulator - https://youtu.be/L_s-LH89gTc

Renewing the warranty on SUVs, motorcycles, and even skateboards!

Something in common between all the jobs today is that they all have particular vehicles assigned to them. And yes, skateboards are vehicles. When those spam calls about extended warranty came without specifying the type of vehicle, I would pretend they were talking about a skateboard. Nowadays, most spam calls just instantly hang up if I answer (no idea why), so I don't get to mess with them anymore.

I will admit that, once in a while, Power Wash Simulator is a decent game to stream. It lets me talk about all of my upcoming plans and related information. I like that about it. But I can't do that every week, so PWS will be staying on the "once in a while" setup.

Checking the poll as of time of writing reveals that Donkey Kong Bananza is at the top of the list. That's not really a surprise to me considering it's fairly recent and was highly anticipated. And it's more of the same as what we were just doing, at least somewhat. I expect I'll have a lot of fun. The next question, then, is whether or not I should use Luke, the character for my Xenoblade X streams. I decided to get that character made for games where I wanted to pretend it was my first playthrough, or where it was on my DS and so I would have to look down a lot. (I don't like it when the camera shows the top of my head.) Since this is actually a first playthrough and it's on Switch, it's up in the air: I don't have any knowledge to share, but neither will I be looking down a lot. So I'll do another poll. (Polls are on Strawpoll, by the way, so that I can include viewers and readers and so on without having to consolidate a ton of results myself.)
