Game Plans

Sundays:

A set of games I can play while watching the other streamers on the multistream and interacting with chat. Must fit the format of shorter (2-hour) streams.

  • Super Mario (current: Odyssey)

  • Picross S (when I need a break: S2)

  • Power Wash Simulator (between games)

Choice Games:

A set of games I really want to play, whether by express choice or a sense of obligation. Twitch viewers can populate this with a points redemption. Presently, I am finishing series that I started earlier and then gained further access to series entries after finishing the set.

This set is currently on weekdays.

  • The Legend of Zelda (on deck: Twilight Princess)

  • Pokemon
  • Wonder Boy
  • Xenoblade Chronicles (current: X Definitive Edition)

Poll Games:

A set of games selected by viewer poll. I try to run entire series before moving to the next.

This set is currently on Saturdays.

  • Final Fantasy (current: Romancing SaGa 2)
  • Metroid (on deck: Zero Mission)

Event Games/Etc.:

Games and other streams voted on by the community for certain events. Most often, this is for annual events such as my Twitch Affiliate anniversary and my streaming anniversary, or as a break between finishing game series. There can be more of these if Twitch subscription milestones are hit.

  • Between Choice series: model building
  • First Saturday monthly: Hollow Knight Randomizer

SPOILERS AHOY!

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD - https://youtu.be/eJS4FlEDlh0

I understand now why they had the Hylian text for the spirits.

I know I've done the Second Quest before, but it was not on the HD version. And therefore it was more than a decade ago. I barely remembered it. In short, however, the story of Wind Waker is that people knew the Hero of Time (the protagonist in Ocarina of Time) traveled through time, but they didn't know how or how far. Wind Waker continues from the adult timeline, and the common people thought that Link could just magically jump forward in time hundreds of years. Not the case. He simply could travel about a decade forward and backward and aged appropriately for the travel.

When Link left the adult timeline altogether (after Ganondorf's defeat), he took the Triforce of Courage with him. But all timelines have to have the full Triforce, so the replacement one shattered into 8 pieces. Lucky us, they were in treasure chests close enough to the surface to be fished up with a grappling hook. Well, perhaps the gods intentionally placed them there when they flooded the kingdom.

I wasn't aware that KoRL had found Tetra by this point in the story. As far as we can tell, they've never met. But since they both can use the Gossip Stone, KoRL probably saw her through it before she gave it to Link. I can imagine he was rather shocked that his great-x granddaughter was a pirate captain, but considering the nature of the world remaining, it's pretty fitting. Especially with the matching portrait of Zelda and her advisors in the castle!
