MA-NON MOVE IN

In the aftermath of Chapter 5, we have a whole host of missions.
As I said via the chat room, I don’t remember Neilnail at all. I don’t recall her quest or anything else about her. It’s not like I can just say, “Oh, yeah, this is coming up;” my memory of this game is not that good. It’s more that I see the person, hear a few of their lines, and go, “I remember that.” I still don’t know what’s coming up in the quest (as demonstrated with Bozé’s mission and me wandering for an hour: that wasn’t just me pretending to be lost) but at least they feel familiar.
Meanwhile, I remember the music for the Ma-non ship really well. I couldn’t tell you if they’re ever relevant again for the story, but I can confidently say they stick around, filling that huge gap in the fourth quarter of the city. I’m slightly disappointed in some other developments we got recently, such as Yardley’s “now you can redo your character customization choices for free whenever!” Yes, it’s nice, especially for a game that is a pseudo-MMO, but it’s not as open as Yardley implied with his statement! I was as disappointed as Luke that I couldn’t change into a lizarkin-like mimeosome. But also I can’t fault Monolithsoft for not modeling that. It’s not Hero Forge and all of their player characters as yet have been either Nopon or “something really close to human.” Even the Blades in Xenoblade 2 aren’t that far from human.
If I recall correctly, you get a Skell as a result of finishing Chapter 6… but it’s not like I’m about to rush to that point. I still want to do things in the “putting story off as long as possible” method. I’m really going to need to figure out Heart-to-Hearts at some point, but the relevant characters simply aren’t showing up. I’ve looked it up online and can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. In the meantime, at least I’m managing to do a lot of other missions. Also, I’ve considered putting in other counters, such as for the FN sites, but I think five is enough. I could have theoretically infinite with more commands, but I don’t think I want to keep track of what they all are. It’s hard enough when I hit the wrong button for the on-screen counters and have to find the hotkey to decrease the counter.
