Game Plans

Sundays:

A set of games I can play while watching the other streamers on the multistream and interacting with chat. Must fit the format of shorter (2-hour) streams.

  • Donkey Kong Bananza

  • Picross S (when I need a break: S2)

  • Power Wash Simulator (between games)

Choice Games:

A set of games I really want to play, whether by express choice or a sense of obligation. Twitch viewers can populate this with a points redemption. Presently, I am finishing series that I started earlier and then gained further access to series entries after finishing the set.

This set is on Mondays & Saturdays.

  • Final Fantasy

  • Hollow Knight: Silksong

  • The Legend of Zelda (on deck: Twilight Princess)

  • Metroid

  • Pokemon
  • Wonder Boy

Event Games/Etc.:

Games and other streams voted on by the community for certain events. Most often, this is for annual events such as my Twitch Affiliate anniversary and my streaming anniversary, or as a break between finishing game series. There can be more of these if Twitch subscription milestones are hit.

  • 5-year Stream Anniversary: Breath of the Wild 100%
  • Between Twitch series: model building
  • First Saturday monthly: Hollow Knight Randomizer
  • PSI Hope 5: Oct. 19: Hollow Knight Archipelago

I FOUND JAPAN

Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven - https://youtu.be/hE1W37JelCI

Square Enix generally likes to have a Japan-inspired location in their larger RPGs.

Based on all the books I keep picking up with combo spells with Dark, I wonder if I could have used them if I'd not messed up Comroon Island. I mean, I tried my best. The Emperor died in the fight to keep the volcano from erupting, and how was I supposed to know I should loot the new island before chatting with the sorceror? Something for a second playthrough, I guess, if I ever do one. (There are way too many games to play.)

Thinking about it afterwards, Wagnas and Sephiroth are nearly the same character. Both led a band of heroes and were betrayed by their government, then set out to destroy much of the world in revenge. They even both gain wings! This game (originally) came out about four years before Final Fantasy VII, so I wonder if Sephiroth was intentionally made with that sort of story in mind? However, you fight Sephiroth in a crater, and Wagnas makes a crater by lifting his own arena into the sky.

After stream, I went looking to see if there's a way to force the Mu folks to migrate, and there is. Just go through the Nazelle Strait again. Then I decided to test if I could just jump to their end point, walk into the Strait, turn around and walk back in to force it quickly. But: I didn't have to! They've finally moved down there and I can do the quest next stream. I'm debating between doing that before Wagnas or after. Probably before just so I can be as prepared as possible for the final fights. It's just that, narratively, it would make more sense if I went right up to him.
